The explosion-proof plug and socket model EX-CZ81 series consist of a plug and a socket in type of explosion protection ‘db’ for use in explosive gas atmospheres, and in type of explosion protection ‘tb’ for use in explosive dust atmospheres. The plug and sockets are mechanically/electrically interlocked preventing the separation of the plug and socket when the contacts are energized. The plug and the sockets are provided with cable entry openings. In the AC 50 / 60 Hz circuit, it can be used as the connection of electrical equipment and power supply, as well as the connection of remote cable. It can be used for cable wiring or steel pipe wiring.

Housing and cover are made of Marine grade copper free aluminium light alloy. The fasteners screws are made of stainless steel. Surface electrostatic powder spraying treatment. The conductive rod and the conductive sleeve are made of copper, and the surface is plated with silver.
